Musical girls

One of the best things about being a band director is having our girls constantly alround music.  Besides all the concerts they go to they also have a bunch of musical toys, some real instruments to play on, and a bunch of musical books or books about music.  This one is a fun one from their aunt Rachel we just got...

To take full advantage you have to really get into the sounds!

What what!  It has been a while since I posted.  Still not sure if I am going to ever get back on the wagon, but this year I have been keeping a fairly (4-5 times a week) journal so maybe this will get added back in!

The girls have been growing like weeds and there is nothing better than to come home and see their happy faces!  We spent all evening outside playing.  I am actually motivated to keep the grass taken care of these days!

We had our Blue Bonnet pictures taken by Aunt Rachel the other week.  You never know what you are going to get, but when you have two beauties even the 'ehh' ones are awesome!

Emily is getting so tall!  Still hard to believe she is almost four already!

Harper being Harper!  We love her hair...  I take full credit since I was the first one to start flipping it out when I blow dried it after baths!

Lesley and I are blessed beyond measure...

Diapers an spit up and poop, oh my

So today was the first time I really got frustrated with Harper. So I am supposed to be a pro at this baby stuff. I did the diaper underneath and everything and have all the supplies going. In the middle of changing Harper she spits up (no biggie since I am prepare for this).

However, as I get back to her diaper I notice her socks are wet. So I take them off and notice her diaper is wet- on the outside. HOW ON EARTH DID SHE PEE AND NOT GET ANY INSIDE THE DIAPER? Before I could check for a pee hole on her back Lesley noticed I was having trouble and took over since of course precious Emily was hollering in her bedroom that she was awake fringed nap. Good times!

I sure do love those chicks, even when they are a pee/poop machine. Ps: EVERY time I say pee pee Emily has to correct me since apparently the correct term is tee tee. Thanks mama!

My mom the graduate

This weekend my mom graduated from Texas State University! She has been working hard on this for years and considering she didn't originally graduate High school I couldn't be more proud!!!

On again?

My on again off again posting may be turned back on thanks to Harper Grace Wood!
She is a healthy baby girl that was born on 12/1/11 and was 20in long and weighed 9lbs 6oz. What is even better is how much hair she has!!!

Lesley and Emily are great and I have loved spending extra time with them!
