Acid Reflux

I haven't posted in a while since it has been so crazy at work. On top of that, every weekend I have been playing at our church or getting gigs at other churches. This week I had two late night events including tonight's high school football game. All went well but when you get in to work at 7:00a and get home at 11:00p it makes for a looooooong day.

Either way, there is not much better than coming home after a long day to a BEAUTIFUL wife and a GORGEOUS baby girl!

I love coming home each day and seeing how our little girl is dressed! Every day is a fashion show and usually she has some uber-cute pink and girly thing on...

HOWEVER.... this Sunday was a lazy, rainy Sunday afternoon and I for once got to dress her. Now I already had on my usual undershirt and grey sweatpants- and as I dug through her onesie drawer I found it... a grey pair of baby sweat pants and the plain white shirt we swiped from the hospital! I must say- it is one of my favorite outfits, mainly since it fit the day so well!
Along with the long work week, it has also been difficult since Em has had acid reflux. Les took her to the Dr. today since she has not been sleeping well all week. Now we have some medicine so hopefully it will be a good weekend.

The best new development in our house though is that Em is smiling! She technically started about a week ago but it is actually very difficult to capture the elusive '.2 second baby smile'. Usually we get a snapshot of a smirk or gas bubble face. But here it is!!!

Yeah! The weekend is here and life is good!!!
