So we have had a lot of visitors the last few days and all go pretty much like this...
aww.... she is precious... yes I want to hold her (unless it's a dude)... how are you feeling... etc.
Yes she is pretty special and by far the best thing I have ever made. I have just been thinking how much love there is around a baby. This is not a suprise to anyone especially since every smile/fart is a photo op.
Now that we are slowly getting back to the real world (no more staring at her all day long) I have started to do more chores. We have introduced the dogs to our sweet baby girl, and all is going well. Many people say you have to slowly introduce the baby. I agree especially since our boston terror can be a little too loving at times. We sent some blankets and clothes home with the first then they finally arrived. At the advice of many we 'presented the butt' first.
Eventually I had to get out tonight and mow the yard. After seeing all these sweet guests and seeing how loving our dogs have been to Emily it was great that they left me a special love momento in the yard for me. Cue the Lion King music... "can you feel the love tonight...."
