Cute pictures are hard work

So all us parents have a TON of cute pictures. Of course, in our digital age we just post the cute ones with some either banished to a hidden cpu file or even worse... the recycle bin!!! Now we would never dream of deleting any picture of Emily, but as we post cute pictures to facebook, email, etc. I thought it would be good to show just a brief glimpse into the picture selection.

exhibit A- noteworthy picture suitable for posting. Besides the sweet glance to the ceiling fan, you get to see a slight dimple that she gets from her daddy! (of course she has my double chin too, but we are working on that...)

Exhibit B- dazed and confused. Maybe we didn't wait long enough between picture retakes. I can just imagine that she is still seeing the little stars and birds circling our heads. Still cute, but just a shadow of her potential.
Exhibit C- the 'I just pinched off another juicy load that is oozing out the side of my diapers and now you are going to have to wash the bouncer cover... AGAIN!!!'. Notice the popeye face with the still wet tear streaked face. It is almost as is she is choosing to stop crying just to enjoy me gag as I use twelve wet wipes on her little backside. As soon as I finish she will start crying again...
Exhibit D- the crying or laughing pose. Here she is laughing- but a little goes a long way. Les is working with her on the subtleties of posing. A little goes a long way. Also- be sure to open your eyes and mouth...
Exhibit E- besides the confused look it is obvious she was not quite ready for this picture. We are raising a little lady and little ladies cross their legs for pictures. (have some decency girl!)
Exhibit F- Even babies can fall victim to bad camera angles. From the looks of this picture you would think that she has been spending half her days snoozing and the other half in the gym busting out some wicked reps on her quads, glutes, and calves. Ok- maybe not gym. Honestly, this angle has her chillin' with the kankles. She is over ten pounds now, but she actually is a very tall and skinny baby!
So as you can see- good pics are hard work...
